(1) the battery should not discharge to below the desired terminal voltage, otherwise it will lead to over discharge, and the repeated over discharge will cause the capacity difficult to recover. The effect of temperature

(2) cycle use (charging, stopping, discharging is charged): charging voltage 2.4V/ monomer, the maximum charging current shall not be greater than 0.25C10.

Service life

The following factors may shorten the service life of the battery:
Repeat the deep discharge.
Shallow deep discharge after repeated charging.
The outside temperature is too high.

When you charge the battery if not used for a long time, especially in the high temperature environment, will lead to reduce self discharge and capacity.

Capacity retention and storage

L self discharge
(1) when the charging battery after long term storage, its capacity will be gradually reduced, and a discharge state, this phenomenon is called self discharge, and this phenomenon is inevitable. Even if the battery has not been used, it will cause self discharge due to the chemical and electrochemical reactions inside the battery:

A. chemical factors, whether PbO2 or Pb, need to be decomposed or gradually reacted with sulfuric acid (electrolyte) to change into a more stable lead sulfate, which is spontaneous discharge.

Because of the existence of impure substances, the electrochemical factors of B. may cause the formation of partial circuit or redox reaction with the poles, resulting in spontaneous discharge. Because of the low impurity content, the self discharging capacity of the battery is very small, which is due to the super retention characteristics of the battery.

(2) the self discharge of the battery is closely related to the storage temperature

The battery should be charged immediately after discharge, and the battery can not be put into use for a long time after discharge. The battery should be recharged again after a period of time, until the capacity is restored to the level before storage.

When the capacity is only less than 40% of the rated capacity (the open circuit voltage is lower than 6.3V/12.63V at 25 degrees), the equalization charging is applied to recover the capacity.

Room temperature should be three months once the battery charge, (supplementary methods please refer to table 3) low temperature battery can be stored for longer periods of time, such as a battery storage at 15 deg.c, no wet, clean and no sunlight, in charge necessary before, can be maintained for more than 12 months.
